About us
Company and Team Visual Memory Productions has been in existence since 1990. It is our goal to use our 17 years experience to give you the best product at a reasonable price. We offer the personal touch and sensitivity to meet your needs and to help make your day unforgettable with the Visual Memory that we create for you. We offer professional digital photography and a digital video recording of your wedding day. We use the following high quality equipment: Nikon D80 & Canon 10D digital still camera and Sony VX2100 3CCD digital video camera. We do have backup equipment in case of need. We are a family team and work well together because we understand each other. We understand and enjoy the emotions the couple experiences on their special day. We are born again Christians who believe in honesty and integrity and always strive to apply these principles in our business. Photography and Videography is not only our work, but also our passion. We always strive to create a relaxed atmosphere in which we can produce the most natural and spontaneous footage.We take pride in our work and aim to create a unique product for each client. We offer you creative photography with formal as well as informal settings. We like to make use of spontaneous and intimate moments, but will also give guidance on poses that will best reflect the feeling and emotions you experienced. We start where the bride prepares and do some photos of a display of the dress, the bride and her mother and the bridesmaids in the room and garden where she is getting ready. We then go off to the church where we meet with the groom to capture him greeting the guests and a bit of his nail biting moments while waiting for his bride. Whilst aiming to cause as little distraction as possible during the service, we make sure that we record the whole service and take photos of the most important moments. After the service we move on to the site where the group and couple photos (and video) are taken. At the reception we capture all the main events - the entrance, speeches, dishing up food, throwing of the garter & and bouquet, cutting of the cake and the opening of the dance floor. Our time limit of 6 hours is normally more than enough to cover these events, but we do not mind staying longer at a minimal fee per extra hour that we need to stay.
THE PACKAGES: A bit more about the value for money packages that we offer you:
Digital Photography: We normally take 200 - 400 photos, but it often more depending on the time allowed and availability of light. Out of the images taken you select 100 photos, which we print in 5" x 7" or jumbo size. We give you a preview CD of all the photos which you use to choose your prints from and which you can use to send photos via e-mail to family & friends. We give you a CD with full quality images of all the photos that we take (with a specially designed label) from which you can make copies and print as many photos as you like as well as your own enlargements (up to A1 size) at any digital photo lab - we retain no copyright. We design a number of digitally manipulated prints according to your choice of package (see our portfolio page for examples). You choose enlargements according to your choice of package. You choose Black & White or Sepia (brownish colour / antique look) prints according to your choice of package. We include photo "Thank You" cards (half jumbo size) according to your choice of package. We choose a close-up photo of the couple and add "Thank You" or a short personalized greeting and the date of the wedding. We e-mail you a proof of the design and print it upon your approval. You choose you photos for the two parent couples (x2) according to your choice of package. We give you a Henzo album (burgundy/black/navy blue - depending on availability) with high quality black pages and cream separator pages in which you can put your photos and enlargements later (if applicable to your package).
DVD/Video: We offer you high quality digital videography taken with a Sony 3CCD video camera with computer editing. We use the theme of your wedding, growing-up photos (if required), romantic background music (of your choice) and the souvenirs of your wedding to create a story of your most beautiful day. We include titles and credits and the wording of the invitation & menu. We give you the master of the video production on DVD as well as a number of copies according to your package selected. The DVD's are all done with specially designed printing on the disc - no labels. (See examples on our portfolio page).
